Mobile Machines

Mobile Machines
Modern commercial vehicles as we know them today are intelligent, flexible and connected. However, the requirements of robustness and longevity remain the same, because the vehicles and machines are permanently exposed to harsh environments. Regardless of whether subject to hot or cold environments, high shock or vibrations, water, mud or dust, these machines must function reliably under any conditions. To automate mobile machines, entire workflows or even have vehicles run autonomously, it takes smart sensor solutions. SIKO as a competent partner with more than 50 years of experience in position detection supports you as a strong and reliable partner. With application experience in mobile machines for more than 30 years, we provide a wide range of sensors for position, velocity and tilt detection.

SIKO provides a wide product range of sensors, specifically and exclusively developed for mobile machines and mobile hydraulics, always with the focus on the application itself.

E1 approval by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority, high electromagnetic compatibility, as well as shock and vibration resistance, protection up to IP69K and reliable sensors for applications up to Performance Level d (PLd) are an integral part of almost any sensor. A wide range of interfaces are available to network the robust sensors digitally: CANopen, Devicenet Safety, SAE J1939 or the conventional analog interfaces current and voltage. We see ourselves as a system supplier in the position detection and also work together with our customers to customer-specific solutions to ensure best efficiency at low process costs. SIKO underlines this technical leadership with the world's first modular sensor "PURE.MOBILE", which has been developed 100% for use in commercial vehicles. More flexibility, robustness and security than ever before. With this, we are focusing on the future of our customers with respect to: digitalization, efficiency and sustainability.

#Sensors for New 92.20 ANSI Standard
The American National Standards Institute #ANSII) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) have implemented a new safety standard for aerial work platforms in North America: ANSI 92.20. It is intended to improve the safety of aerial work platforms and to have more alignment with international standards.
These high #Safety requirements must also be met by the sensors installed there, for which #SIKO can offer the right solution!

All sensors from the sensor platform PURE.MOBILE have been designed and developed exclusively
for #PositionDetection in mobile machines. Advantages of the #PureMobile sensors are:
☑️ Safety variants up to Performance Level d #PLdd) to meet
the safety requirements of "ANSI 92.20
☑️ the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for
MEWPs are fulfilled
☑️ the requirements of E1 (UN ECE R10) for road vehicles
are fulfilled
☑️ high shock and vibration resistance
